Over the next few weeks, we’re going to grow out our facial hair and put an end to that argument once and for all.

Day 1

Things get weird and kind of awesome after hours at Anti Anti.

In response to Hilary Duff’s PSA about saying “That’s so gay!”.

Screw you Hilary Duff. You’re gay.

Its been a long time folks. The blog’s been baron for quite some time and the world needs more awesome and less cool! So here’s a little update on whats happened in our lives wile you all have been waiting with bated breath for a delicious post!

- We Graduated!

- Jeff got a scooter and almost got arrested for it.

- Graydon went to NJ

- We joined the Anti Anti team! “Look ma! we gots a job!”

- Jeff went to California

- Graydon rode his bike alot

- We moved to a new studio!

- Jeff went back to califonia

- Graydon got engaged to Lindsay

- We started running (sort of)

- Jeff still officially owns his scooter now (but still doesn’t have his license.)

- Graydon dropped his phone from the fire escape and it fell eleven floors. It still works.

- We just saw district 9. It was amazing.

So there it is in a nut shell. Let the awesomeness comence!

In recent weeks our blog has been quite sparse post wise due to portfolio review. At the end of each year at SVA, in the graphic design department, you are required to submit a book of all the work you have completed that year. The portfolio is then judged and graded and from that is determined weather you pass and go on to the next year, or what kind of scholarships you may receive.

Compiling, shooting, printing, and binding work, has pretty much been most of us graphic design major’s lives for the past two weeks. The final week leading up to the due date is always the craziest though, countless all nighters in computer lab, hard drives crashing, printing and reprinting. All the mental, and physical agony all for this one day, this one collection of works that represents you. Terms like yesterday, last night and tomorrow don’t apply anymore, when your not sleeping and only working all the time you use words like, later, earlier, and soon. The measurements of time become relative and abstract, and sleep is just something you wish you didn’t have to do because there just isn’t enough time to get it all done!!!

This morning us bleary eyed graduating seniors dropped of our books, boxes, and laptops. Time is up, no more changes, it has come to an end. This is maybe what it feels like to go thru boot camp or some sort of collective military experience. Even though it was difficult, painful, and tiring, we all went thru it together, shared this experience. Sitting in the lab at five in the morning and laughing to the point of tears just because of how tired we all were. Helping each other, take pictures, bind books, fix websites, I’ll carry all these memories with me into the real world and will look back on these days with fondness.

So now its over, and I sit here in the lab with the empty nests of these once populated computers, our temporary homes, and James Amoros, sleeping in a chair after having spent countless days awake. We haven’t received our diplomas yet but the worst is over, and we can all sleep.
